Museum Amstelkring,
Known locally at the "Our Lord in the Attic" a Catholic church hidden in the upper stories of a restored 17th Century house where Catholics were persecuted in the 1600's and had to hide their churches. Oudezijds Voorburgwal 40 (020 624 6604).

Museum Geelvinck Hinlopen Huis

Museum van Loon

Museum Willet-Holthuysen

National Maritime Museum

Willet Holthuysen Museum
The house was built in 1687 and houses furniture and antiques from the 19 th Century. Each room is richly decorated and of note is the Louis XV1 dining room. Herengracht 605 (020 523 1870).
